Everyone, Everywhere

Paul paints such a beautiful picture of evangelism. To him, there are no limits as to people and places where the Gospel should go.

“You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. [21] I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.” Acts 20:20-21 NIV

His preaching is everywhere. He does it publicly and privately. In Synagogues and open places, and also in homes to individuals and families.

He also preaches to everyone. To the Jews and Greeks, male and female. Everywhere he went he shared the Gospel.

And are we living lives that share the Gospel everywhere we go? In private and public? With individuals and groups? May this be our challenge!

Lord, it can be difficult to share our faith, even with those closest to us. We can worry about how people will take what we have to say. But Your call in the Great Commission is to “Go and make disciples.” Not just to share, but teaching (which is required if we are to “make disciples.” Help us in this, that Your kingdom might grow, that Your Name might be proclaimed throughout the whole earth. In Jesus’ name…
